Sunday 21 Chibok schoolgirls were reunited with their families in Abuja, Nigeria. In 2014, 276 schoolgirls were kidnapped from their braoding school in Chibok, Nigeria by the Boko Haram terrorist group. Negotiations are still in effect to continue to free the remaining 197 girls, 83 of those are expected for the next release. As of now the families of the 21 schoolgirls were overcome with joy at the return of their daughters, sisters, and cousins. Many mothers wept as they held their daughters for the first time in two and a half years. One mother even wrapped her daughter on her back like a child. Even though they were happy to return to their homes, many of the girls and their families are still praying for the release of the remaining 197 Chirok schoolgirls.
