World News: WWI Ship Wrecked By 'Sea Monster' Found Off UK Coast

During WWI there was a U-boat called the UB-85 that gained famed once crew claimed the ship was sunken by a mystery 'sea monster'. UB-85 commander Capt. Gunther Krech insisted the ship was taken down by the monster will engaging in battle with the crew. The legend began when the Capt. stated that the submarine was cruising along the coast of Scotland on the surface of the water in efforts to "recharge it's batteries". When they were approached by a monster with "large eyes, set in a horny sort of skull". The monster was said to have a small head, however the teeth could be seen in the moonlight. The Capt. said the ship was badly damaged by the monster as the crew shot at it prior to it returning to the sea. Gary Campbell, the keeper of the Official Sightings Register of the Loch Ness Monster, believes that the legend could be true. Due to the fact that there has been a history of 'sea monster' sightings in that area. Wednesday afternoon sonar images showed the 100 year old wreck to be mostly intake, and lead to further investigation into unlocking the Scottish folklore.
